On Veteran's Day and every day, we express gratitude to those who have served and made sacrifices for our country. Today, we pay tribute and extend our thanks to the brave individuals who have served in the military and made sacrifices for our nation.
Today, we were fortunate to have Dawn Baker, the Founder and CEO of US Surrogacy LLC, discuss her personal journey and the inception of her gestational surrogacy agency in November 2014.
Dawn served as a Specialist in the US Army and Army Reserve from May 1985 through May 1994; she served as a Personnel Administrative Specialist and subsequently as a Psychological Operations Specialist. She also worked as an Assistant to the Civilian Personnel Director on Yokota Airbase, Japan.
The team at her agency are pleased to have helped intended parents from all walks of life, within the U.S. and throughout 21 countries. They have welcomed almost 400 babies along the way.Â
What inspired you to start US Surrogacy LLC?
Much of Dawn's passion for surrogacy comes from her own experience as an infertility patient while hoping to having her second child. Prior to starting US Surrogacy LLC, she was a partner for two years in a startup agency. She is grateful for the over 12 years of experience helping to begin or grow families.Â
Why you support Roaring Adventures
The unique mission of Roaring Adventures is near and dear to Dawn's heart. She comes from a long line of veterans including her grandfather, father, uncles, siblings, nephews, and her husband of 36 years. She recognizes the unique challenges faced by military families as they navigate infertility.Â
We look forward to bringing you an exciting story about one of our grant recipients in partnership with US Surrogacy LLC.
