Meet Jessica

"Chris and I struggled with infertility for the better part of 9 years. We exhausted all of our finances and emotions in this long, hard journey. We finally came upon embryo adoption and adopted several embryos from an amazing family. We transferred 2 embryos on December 19th, 2018 and found out New Years Eve I was pregnant for the first time ever!! At our first ultrasound we saw two sweet little babies with strong heart beats! Unfortunately we lost baby B around 9 weeks. This was extremely difficult. I also throughout my pregnancy dealt with a large clot that caused many large bleeds and lots of concern that ended up with me on bed rest. On May 21st my water broke at my doctors appointment and I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where shortly after they discovered my placenta was detaching and I needed an emergency c-section before Finn went into distress. He was born at 24 weeks, and 4 days at 7:36pm weighing 1.27 lbs. He has been fighting ever since. 💙 Please follow our journey as we watch The Lord move on his behalf."
