Meet Julie

After being diagnosed with infertility and becoming a mother through the gift of donor assisted reproduction, I found various paths to parenthood were under represented in children's literature. I wrote Happy Together to help parents share the special family building story with their child.

It's my hope Happy Together will provide a heartwarming book for parents to read with their child sharing just how much they were wished for and loved!

Tell us about Julie!

I'm passionate about raising awareness, advocating for access and providing support for those impacted by the disease of infertility. Being a mommy is my greatest joy. I love spending time with my family, traveling, the beach, books and writing.

What led you to become a children's book author?

After becoming parents through donor assisted reproduction, it was important to my husband and I that we began sharing the family building story with out child at a young age. Books are a wonderful way to do so and I've always had a passion for writing. In effort to help my own family and others built through third party reproduction and/or IVF, I wrote a children's book collection - Happy Together.

What inspires you?

My family and fellow infertility warriors.
